Well the time has come to move on to the next term. Another set of courses and another group of friends. The Comp. II course has been fun yet challenging. I had a great time researching for my final paper. I really appreciated the fact that we were able to choose our topic, rather than have one assigned to us. I learned many things throughout this course including how to write a better paper and become more familiar with APA. I know these things will be important in the future. I wish everyone the best and hopefully we will meet again in future courses.

time to move on
Even though there are two weeks left in this term for classes, this week is really the end of classes. This week I am attending the final seminar sessions for each course and saying farewell to new friends already. It is possible to run into them again, but unlikely. It is a bittersweet time, leaving old courses and starting new ones. I suppose the saying is true, "Life is an adventure". I hope we all continue to explore and see what we can find. The end of this term is the beginning of something new for all of us, I hope you all find happiness in your future and good wishes in all you do. It has been a fun time and hopefully there are many more as we move forward in life.

The end is near
Well we are getting close to the end of the term. I am hoping to bring up my A&P grade in the last couple of weeks. I am also hoping to not let my grades drop in my other two courses. At this point of the term I always get nervous about final papers and exams. There are many things to review and look over before the ninth week gets here. I hope everyone does well with there final projects and good luck to the upcoming term. I have really enjoyed meeting all of the people who have been so helpful in my classes this time around. Hopefully, my luck continues and I meet more incredible friends. Until next week...

Hectic Times
This week has been hectic. I went on a mini-vacation for Valentine's weekend. Now, I need to catch up. I got a little behind on things. It was really bad timing for us to go out of town, but it is the one time a year that my boyfriend and I get away from the children each year. We are busy all the time with four kids and this is our one chance to get some time to ourselves without stressing about everyday life. It was bad timing because we have just moved two weeks ago and are still trying to get settled, I have three final project papers that I should be working on, and the kids are very active and have things going on. Well, we are back to reality and back to work. Now, I have got to get back into the routine and get back on track. I plan to work hard this week on my studies and try to get my house back to functional status. I suppose this is what life is about.

Trying to get ahead
Well this week I have been trying to get started earlier and work ahead a little. It is not working out very well for me at all. There is always something that seems to get in the way. I am supposed to leave for vacation tomorrow so I wanted to have most of my schoolwork done and ready to go so I would not have to work on it while I am out of town. I have come to the realization that I am going to be taking my laptop with me and working on classes when I have down time. It does not seem like the ideal vacation, but it will have to do. I did not realize how much work is due this week for my three courses. I will figure it out and hopefully still have some time for fun while I am away.

Work in Progress
Well this week has been crazy. I have had a few hang-ups that have prevented me from staying on course and now I am trying desepately to catch up. I found out on Sunday that I needed to move and I had to be done by Friday. It has been a challenge to say the least. Then on top of that, the cable was supposed to be transferred on Wednesday, which is the day I have two seminars scheduled, and the technician hooked it up and had everything working for about an hour after he left. Suddenly, I had no phone service, internet, or television. Needless to say, I missed both seminars and now I am trying to get back on track. I hope everyone else is having a good week. I just keep telling myself to keep my head up and moving forward. It is going to get better.

How Things Are Going
I will start by saying that this week has been a challenge for me. I am starting to struggle in a couple of classes. Anatomy and Physiology is a difficult course for me and it not getting easier. In addition, Algebra has got me so confused right now I am not sure what to do. One good thing is that Composition II is going pretty well so far. This is the first term that I have challenged myself to three classes instead of two. I am beginning to wonder if I made a good decision by doing that. I guess I am just going to have to strive harder to do well in all of them. I suppose that is all for now.

First Post and Research Topics
Today is the first time I have ever posted to a blog. I am not sure how I feel about it yet. I suppose I will get more comfortable with it as time goes by. I have been researching for papers quite a bit this past week. I am currently working on papers for two different courses. First for Comp. II, I am thinking of doing my research paper on Children with ADHD. I have found so many interesting articles pertaining to ADHD that will be useful, so I think I am going to stick with it. Not to mention, it is very interesting for me. Second for A&P, I am going to do my research paper about the Endocrine System with detailed information pertaining to the pituitary gland. This is also a topic of interest for me. My fear now is that I need to stick to a schedule to be able to finish both papers on time without having to do a rushed job on either one.
